Join us at Sunrise Rotary Park at 5:00 PM for one of our favorite St. Joe's summer traditions: Mass in the Park!
Celebrate a beautiful evening of outdoor worship, followed by food, music, and fun for all ages. Whether you're part of our parish or visiting for the first time, we'd love to welcome you!
This event is FREE and open to everyone! If you plan to attend, please RSVP so we can prepare enough food and treats for all.

what to expect
- Mass Details: Mass will be celebrated by Fr. Jake Beltran with concelebrant Fr. Conrad Espino. Mass will begin at 5:00 PM.
- What to Bring: Your family & friends, lawn chairs, blankets, and maybe some bug spray! Think Ravinia-style picnic!
- Food: Enjoy free burgers, hot dogs, chips, cold drinks, and ice cream after Mass.
- Entertainment: Music, raffles, a scavenger hunt with prizes, and games for all ages after Mass.
- Parking: Parking is available in the rear of the church, by the Baird & Warner Real Estate building, the PNC bank parking lot, the BMO Harris Bank parking lot (across from Mickey Finn's), the McMurrough Funeral Chapel parking lots, and on surrounding streets. Due to the expected large turnout, please plan for additional time to find parking. Please note that Maple Avenue will not be available for parking.
- Accessibility: Reserved handicapped parking and a convenient drop-off area will be on Broadway Street. Limited accessible seating is available near Broadway St., with Communion and food delivered to you.
- Forecast: We will update as we get closer to the date! Say a prayer to Saint Medard for a rain-free day!
- Rain Plan: If it is raining, the Mass will move inside the Church, and the festivities will go on in the Koenig Center. For updates, please check our social media.

REGISTER TO ATTEND!Mass in the Park is open to all - we just ask that you let us know if you think you will attend. We serve hot dogs, hamburgers and frozen treats to everyone so it is important to know how many we can expect!

serve at mass in the park!Volunteering at Mass in the Park is a great way to get to know other parishioners in a very laid-back environment. Opportunities include set-up (manual labor!), food wrapping (great for families), kids' activities, food serving, and clean-up (again, manual labor!).
Visit the Sign-Up Genius to sign up for a shift on Saturday, August 15.
For new volunteers, we provide t-shirts to designate the volunteer crew. The deadline has now passed to order - however we have some extras so please indicate your size in the signup genius and we will see if can accommodate.
