St. Joseph Parish Center

This central gathering space will serve as the heart of our parish. Designed with flexibility and modern technology, it welcomes people of all ages and backgrounds to come together.

• The space will support parish life through after-Mass fellowship, parish events, and youth gatherings, while also providing the school with a dynamic venue for curriculum nights, formation programs, dances, and celebrations.
• Children’s Faith Formation will have a dedicated home for kickoffs, Holyween, large-class activities, and special gatherings that nurture young hearts in their faith.
• Sacramental celebrations, including Baptisms, First Holy Communion, Confirmation, marriages, and memorial events, will find a beautiful and fitting setting here.
• Additionally, this space will welcome Archdiocesan events, including seminarian formation and diocesan workshops, making it a hub where our parish not only serves its current members but extends hospitality and discipleship to the broader Church community.

Every event, every gathering, and every moment in this space will help ensure that every person encounters Jesus, follows Him, and shares His love.

As St. Joseph School approaches its 100th anniversary in 2026, and our Children's Faith Formation program continues to expand, the new Learning Commons space will support three forward-looking initiatives while addressing current needs.

1) Preschool - The additional space allows us to reimagine existing classrooms, opening an additional full-day four-year-old preschool. This strengthens our ability to serve young learners, supports the long-term vitality of the school, and ensures families are connected to our Parish and community from the earliest years.

2) Student Services Department - Our Student Services Department, a dedicated team supporting the whole child academically, spiritually, socially, and emotionally, currently operates across multiple spaces, limiting collaboration. The new central Student Services Hub brings the team together in one space, allowing consistent communication, coordinated care, and a clear point of support for students, parents, teachers, and prospective families.

3) Flexible Space - The third component is a large, intentional Flexible Space, roughly the size of three classrooms, designed for multi-use functionality. Educators and staff currently struggle to find space for full staff meetings, small groups, or collaborative learning. The new flexible space can accommodate up to 75 people when fully opened and can be partitioned for small groups. It will serve not only school needs but also Children’s Faith Formation classes, providing a safe, adaptable space for gatherings, instruction, and collaboration throughout the day.

The proposed Chapel will serve as a central, prayerful space. By creating a sacred environment that is both intimate and accessible, the Chapel will deepen spiritual encounters, enabling every person to connect with Jesus through quiet prayer, Eucharistic Adoration, and reflection, in alignment with the vision of an ever-expanding community of disciples. It will provide a dedicated space for St. Joseph Catholic School and Children’s Faith Formation classes to pray, learn, and grow in faith. It will also provide space for families and small groups to gather, pray, and participate in parish life, nurturing discipleship in everyday life. Design elements such as stained glass and sacred furnishings will honor the parish’s rich history while creating a reverent and inviting atmosphere. Flexible furniture, seating, and layout will allow the space to serve a variety of needs, from personal prayer to small liturgies, making the chapel welcoming to all.
