The theme for his year’s Annual Catholic Appeal’s is Together we bring
light. This theme is rooted in the gospels, and it speaks to deep needs in our
world. Our world is often shrouded in darkness, clearly the darkness of
war, violence, poverty and hunger but also the darkness of sin and ignorance
of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
It is with sadness that we share the passing of Fr. John Hennessey, our pastor emeritus, who passed away on Sunday, June 14, 2026, at the age of 84. Read more here.
New signage went up at the new Parish Office today! Things are getting pretty official over here! Please help us out and remind your St. Joe’s friends that our Parish Office has now moved to a new location so we can begin construction on our new St. Joseph Parish Center this summer.
As the next phase of our St. Joseph Parish Center (SJPC) campaign continues, we are entering an exciting season of progress as we prepare for demolition of the Parish Office and construction this summer.
A heartfelt thank you to all of the incredible volunteers and staff members who have been helping with the Parish Office relocation and the work being done at our new building! From packing and organizing to moving, setting up, and preparing the new space, your time, energy, and willingness to serve have helped make this transition possible.

Starting June 1st, our Parish Front Office and staff will be relocating just behind the Church as a first step in moving forward with our new St. Joseph Parish Center. This move allows us to begin demolition of our current building as we prepare for what’s next.

The news you’ve all been waiting for… is officially here! Big things are happening at St. Joe’s! For the past year, we’ve been dreaming, praying, and working toward a new St. Joseph Parish Center for our community. This will be a place for our youth to learn and grow in faith, our ministries to flourish, and our parish family to become ever-expanding.

None of us are here by accident. God has placed us in this community at this moment to build something bigger than ourselves. St. Joe’s is more than a place to attend Mass. It is a faith home where people belong, grow, and encounter Christ. The St. Joseph Parish Center will help strengthen that sense of home through welcoming gathering spaces, modern learning areas, and a chapel for quiet prayer.
Our 2025 Annual Catholic Appeal theme - Together we bring hope - and the Holy Year theme - Pilgrims of hope - are timely and opportune. Hope is a gift from God that enables us to take up our responsibility in our world, our Church and our families. Hope is a gift that we share, a gift that we bring to others and do so together.
At St. Joe’s, we expect God to move, to act, and to transform lives. Our new St. Joseph Parish Center capital campaign is built on that expectation and on hope for generations to come.
Thank you to all the parents who stayed for this mornings SJPC Stay and Chat. Thank you to Liz Kennedy, Sarah Hutchinson, and Kevin Burns for hosting this morning's event and the eighth graders who helped out!
The St. Joseph Parish Center is about creating spaces where connection, discipleship, and belonging can flourish. We are currently at $13.5 million toward our $15 million goal, with 23% of our registered families participating. If you haven’t yet participated, we invite you to pray about how you might join.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to all who donated toward the Christmas flowers at St. Joe’s. Your generosity helped make our church beautiful during the Christmas season and created a welcoming space for prayer, celebration, and worship.

During Faith Commitment Weekend last weekend, Fr. Jake invited us to bring our Faith Commitment pledge cards to the altar, giving our gifts to Jesus. Many of us made a commitment of faith to this campaign. We were asked to commit to prayer or financial giving, and we are so grateful to share about the incredible response so far.
