The Annual Solemn Vespers for the World Day of Prayer for the Care of Creation will be held August 31 at 7PM at Sts Peter & Paul Greek Orthodox Church, Glenview. This is the kick-off to the Season of Creation. The vespers will be followed by a reception and a lecture by James F. Puglisi, SA on Creation and Ecumenism. All are welcome to attend.

Join in the fun game of Euchre - a great way to meet new friends within the parish. This night is the kick-off to the year of Euchre and we will meet in the Koenig Center. After September we will return to the first Saturday of the month. Bring some food to share and BYOB - this event is for those 21 and older. Euchre is a fast-paced, trick-taking card game played by four players in teams of two. It uses a small 24-card deck made of nines through aces. The first team to score 10 points wins. There will be a beginner table at so all levels are welcome!

The Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick is available to those facing serious physical, mental, or emotional illness and is celebrated during the 8:30 AM Mass on the third Saturday of each month, or may be arranged at another time as needed.

Children in grades K–8 are invited to share their voices, grow in faith, and experience the joy of worshiping together through music. Rehearsals begin Wednesday, September 23, and will take place weekly on Wednesdays from 4:30–5:30 PM in the Church through May 5. Children will also have the opportunity to sing at the 9:00 AM or 11:00 AM Mass on Mass Instead of Class days, sharing their gifts with our parish family.
