A Letter from Fr. Jake

On behalf of all the parishioners of St. Joe’s and St. Joseph Catholic School, I would like to express our heartfelt sympathy to the victims of the shooting at Annunciation Church and School in Minnesota, as well as to their families. Please be assured of our prayers during this time of loss and mourning. We also continue to pray for the swift recovery of those who were wounded.

I echo the appeal of Cardinal Cupich in his statement:
“We therefore pray for those who hold the power to make the safety of our people a national priority, and we ask God to give them the courage to take the steps they know will alleviate, if not eliminate, the fear parents feel in sending their children off to school and Americans feel when leaving their homes for simple errands. Please pray and act now.”
