We are excited to announce that our International Sharing Ministry is in the exploratory stages of a new global service project. From April 20-30, 2026, Father Jake, along with five members of our parish, will journey to Tuguegarao, Philippines. Please pray for Fr. Jake, Abby Daniels, Margaret Jablonski, Lynn Krueger, and Bill Krueger.
This Mission Trip is deeply personal for our community, as Tuguegarao is near the community where Father Jake grew up and was ordained. Our team departs on April 20th to explore new opportunities for solidarity, seeking to share our faith and the many graces of our parish with his home community.
What is the International Sharing Ministry? The International Sharing Ministry, is a ministry that looks to serve the most vulnerable around the world and focuses on "self-sustaining" projects that provide long-term empowerment to communities in need. Our past work includes:
Moshi, Tanzania: Parishioners funded and built a primary school that serves 500 students, along with a revenue-generating hotel to ensure the school remains self-sufficient.
Cusco, Peru: In partnership with the Jesuits, we constructed a community center dedicated to serving disadvantaged children.
Quechultenango, Mexico: We continue to facilitate annual dental missions through El Niño Rey, providing essential healthcare services.
How You Can Be Involved As we embark on this exploratory journey, we invite the entire parish community to join us in spirit.
1. Keep Us in Your Prayers We humbly ask for your prayers for the safety of our travelers and for the hearts of the people we will meet in the Philippines. Your spiritual support is the foundation of this Mission Trip.
2. Follow the Journey Experience the mission through our eyes! We will be posting regular updates, photos, and stories from the field on our social media (Facebook and Instagram.) 3. Looking to the Future This trip is just the beginning. Upon our return, we look forward to sharing our findings and announcing more opportunities for the parish to get involved with this project. Stay tuned for updates on how we will build this new chapter of our ministry together.
