The Catholic Charities of Lake County's Community Center located at 914 8th St. Waukegan needs volunteer instructors starting to assist with basic English Language and US Citizenship exam preparation.

The Bed Ministry, in collaboration with the Boys and Girls Club of Rockford, UCAN, and the participants of ComEd's Tools of the Trade workforce training program, joined forces with their ComEd mentors to create twin-sized bedframes for children in need.

Viator House is an interfaith-based program that provides hope, healing and opportunity to young men with nowhere to live while pursuing asylum claims in the U.S. immigration system.

The theme of this year's Annual Catholic Appeal is Walking on the road with Jesus. It evokes the gospel scene of the two disciples who find themselves walking toward the village of Emmaus with a stranger, who, in fact is Jesus. (Luke 24:13-35)

Charitable gift annuity payout rates have increased – allowing you the opportunity to benefit more from your giving and to help ensure that God’s good work continues.

Our parish provided hamburgers and hotdogs to 100 individuals and families from our community. 20 welcoming volunteers served the food and ate with the guests. Live music was provided by our parishioner, Peter Brush.
