Our Community Garden at 218 Park PL. is growing and harvest will be happening soon. The produce will be donated to our food pantry.

Our parish provided hamburgers and hotdogs to 100 individuals and families from our community. 20 welcoming volunteers served the food and ate with the guests. Live music was provided by our parishioner, Peter Brush.

On Saturday, June 24th, 62 beds were delivered to 29 families in Lake County. Thanks to all the volunteers for your hard work to make the day a success!

The Social Justice Ministry is partnering with Catholic Charities to provide backpacks and school supplies to underprivileged children in Lake County. Volunteers are needed to organize and fill backpacks.

The Waukegan Holy Family Soup Kitchen guest counts have increased 40% over the last 2 years. Volunteer Captains and volunteers are needed for Fridays and Saturdays.

Our parish provided over 600 plants to parishioners to take home and grow. The produce will be donated to our food pantry. Thank you to the parishioners that grew and donated the plants.

On a recent Saturday, 10 volunteers prepared, packaged and handed out 82 hearty meals to 49 guests.

The Community Garden is now located on St. Joseph's property. Garden supplies were collected and the ground is being prepared.

On April 15th,volunteers through the St. Joseph's Bed Ministry delivered 83 beds to 36 families. The children and families appreciate the beds, comforters and hope that we bring to their home.

Over 800 gifts were donated, sorted and distributed to agencies that meet the needs of the hungry, isolated and homeless.
